Ongoing projects
eROLL
2010 – 2013
Together with our project partners SURGICeye and Crystal Photonics we are developing a 3D technique to navigate surgical interventions. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF).
Completed projects
ASYNTRA
2009 – 2011
This project was a cooperation with the Technical University in Munich. It focused on tracking based on non-synchronized observations. The ASYNTRA project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF).
AVILUS
2008 – 2011
The AVILUS project was a joint research project with leading German industrial enterprises, small and medium-sized companies and research institutes. It aimed to develop and prove new technologies in Virtual and Augmented Reality applications. The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF).
narvis
2006 – 2007
ART was member of the NARVIS consortium (Navigation and AR Visualization System) which was supported by the Bavarian Research Foundation.
ARVIKA
1999 – 2003
The ARVIKA project aimed to research and to implement Augmented Reality (AR) technologies to support working processes in development, production and service of complex technical products. The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF).
Networks
EuroVR
The non-profit European Association for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality is the subsequent operation of the INTUITION network. It is designed to bring together all those interested in VR/AR Technologies and to pursue the development and further deployment of such technologies.
Dassault Technology Partner
ART works closely with Dassault Systèmes’ Research & Development to assure the compatibility between the systems.
