Verpose = verify position

We developed this markerless inside-out tracking for the special needs of one of our automotive clients (see picture above). In this application no target is needed. A camera on the tool analyses the current view and compares it with the keyframes from all taught positions. If one keyframe fits, the current position will be shown.

With this kind of tracking a worker can, depending on the customer´s software, also be guided through configuring the tool, capturing and recording the position and torque data for each bolt. When the tool tip is in position for a known screw, ART delivers the screw ID.
