Drone Tracking with DTRACK
Precise 6DOF drone tracking in large volumes — passive markers, AT7-50 cameras, and DTRACK4 for inspection, FPV, and research.

Precise tracking in flight
ART brings decades of experience in optical metrology to a new application field: real-time drone tracking. Passive retro-reflective markers on the airframe enable high-precision 6DOF data — without active components on the drone. The focus is on research, inspection, and flight dynamics analysis, not classic manufacturing robotics.
Technology
With just four AT7-50 cameras and DTRACK4, you can already cover a tracking volume of 8 × 8 meters. The system scales easily to larger flight zones when needed. Interfaces to common 3D platforms such as Autodesk VRED allow direct use of tracking data.
Applications
- Inspection and surveying in large halls or outdoor areas
- FPV racing and flight dynamics analysis
- Research and development for autonomous flight systems
- Integration into simulation and visualization
